An EPC is required for most properties that are offered for sale or for rent in England and Wales. If you are selling a property your must have a fully compliant EPC which is a mandatory document. If you have been marketing your home prior to the EPC Regulations, you will still be required to provide an EPC prior to completion.

An Energy Performance Certificate is valid for a period of 10 years.
